Frag-O-Matic 12.0 will host another lan on 12-14 february in Wieze, Belgium. Fom is one of the biggest lans in Belgium with 650 attendees. They all fight for honor and the prizes! Defcom will also be present at Fom with our new Counter-Strike 1.6 team.

Yesterday evening ESL announced the games for the Pro series and the qualified teams for the games!

Sunday was the Eurocup Invite Show on Clanbase Radio and IRC. With the announcement for the Qualifiers and Invites for several games.

At 20.30 we got great news as our Source team is invited directly for the most famous cup on Clanbase.

From the benelux are there 5 other teams but they have to play a qualifier for this cup.

End of september are the qualifiers done then we know who we have to play in the groupstage.

As Call Of Duty2 don't have a Eurocup we couldn't be invited. So they have to play the Open Cup where they play in premier league group H!

After loosing LLL in overtime they lost vs Famazing (they played around 3 o`clock in the night, so they were all abit sleepy

After playing under the banner of iCon-Esports , which turned into Aktrona, for quite some time, it was announced during the day that the team would be saying goodbye to Aktrona to join up Defcom. Defcom is more able to provide the team with more support then they were able to get out of Aktrona.We came in contact with eachother and everyone can do the maths here, it was a match.
Abit more history of the team itself:
iCon-Esport, a clan coming from nowhere, was doing more and more good results on the CallOfDuty IV scene, winning teams such as oXmoze, Love, ZelLion and more, it has become one of the best French teams in Europe.
But at the end of the Gamers-Assembly LAN, many good French teams have decided to split like iGamerz, Essential, even iCon-Esport after finishing fourth at this big event, they also splitted.
After that, qriz, DOGZ & SiniKzAR were looking for players and then they took hckrz who left ZelLion , experience mixed-up with the potential of these guys could be nice.
The problem was that we needed a last player...
After watching results of all teams at Gamers-Assembly, we have found zabuza, a known French player, he was oXmoze; we decided to take him because he was the friend of qriz.
"It is with great pleasure that i can welcome the COD4 team into dC. This team has a great attitude to move forward and becoming better. I'm confident that they will succeed. We look forward to working with this team and hopefully its a long term agreement. Their first lan attendence will be the french lan Opale Arena 2009 on 22 and 23 august"

"We are glad to join the well known multigaming DEFCOM.I've heard a lot of good things about this organisation.I hope we will perform well under this tag online & offline and don't disapointed the hope place in our team!"

Also we are welcoming a new manager Dweepz! Dweepz will do the communication between the teams and the management. Also if you question about Defcom he is the man you got to have.
Dweepz gave the following statement:
"After roughly a month of working in Perfect-eSports Pavo messaged me on xfire if I was having a good time in Perfect-eSports. My answer was no because the other managers in Perfect-eSports lacked dedication and there were some communication problems as they are Greek and I am Belgian. So after a few chats pavo asked me if I was interested becoming a part of defcom. This obviously was an easy decision because defcom is one of the fastest growing organisations in the Benelux and I can work with 2 dedicated managers namely pavo and emperor. I am very grateful for the opportunity that defcom is giving me and I will try to do my utmost best to take defcom to the next level together with pavo and emperor!"

Today our CoD2 team had to play in the Semi Final in the Clanbase Open Cup where they placed in the Premier League. They faced the Combined Squad who knocked down in the quarter final the eMotion. So the team was warned and had to play decent if they wanted to win this one. The map that was played was not to the preference of the team. Map which was played was Carentan.
